Our commitments, and what we ask of visitors

Not a heaven designed to bring tourists as close to elephants as possible — a place built by beginning with one question: what is best for the elephants?

Welfare Commitments

No touching. No riding. No hand-feeding.

Elephants choose their own behaviour — no staged activity or forced proximity
Visitors observe from designated distances and follow guide instructions
No touching, riding, bathing, performances, or hand-feeding
Human contact only when necessary for care, management, or veterinary treatment
Fair working conditions and recognition for mahouts, caretakers, and staff
Habitat, water, and environment are treated as part of elephant welfare, not decoration

We avoid unverifiable claims — you won't see language like "100% rescued," "fully wild," or guaranteed sightings on this site. What we tell you about Mo Ngae Po, Mali, Chicha, and Naw Keer is what their families and caretakers have told us.

What We Ask of Visitors

Visitor conduct

Keep a respectful distance and follow your guide at all times
Do not touch or hand-feed the elephants, or attempt to pose for photos with them
Avoid flash photography, loud noises and sudden movements
Follow the sanctuary's lead if an elephant chooses to walk away

Booking & payment

Confirmed with you, in writing

Visits are arranged by enquiry. We confirm availability, prices, pick-up details and any booking terms with you by email before anything is booked or charged. If you have questions about changes or cancellations, ask us when you enquire.
